Is It Possible To Make A Living Online?

by Dave Richard

Of course, it is possible; many people are sitting at home in front of their computers doing it right now. Making a living online is becoming more common every day. The fact that many offline companies are taking their business online is further proof that not only is making a living online possible, it may prove to be more profitable than making a living offline.

There are all types of internet workers, some only work to make a little money while others apply themselves and make thousands a month or even more. Many work online until they have enough income to quit their day jobs and others are content with a little extra spending money. There are also people out there making millions online.

More and more people have access to computers and internet every day; it is becoming a standard item in most homes. This means even more opportunity for the home worker to make money online. As a computer and internet become a necessity in people’s homes, these opportunities will grow even more, just think about how many people will be shopping online for what they need.

There are different ways to make money on internet. You can sell someone else’s products. You can sell your own product. Or get paid for blogging. You can create your own website and place advertisements on it to get money.

There are limitless opportunities to make money on internet. The important thing is finding the right method and protecting yourself against fraud, scams and places that seek to earn money by taking you for a ride. The internet can be a risky place to do business if you are not careful and take the time to research each of the opportunities you are interested in.

In order to start making money on the internet you are going to need a computer, an internet connection, a product or service to sell and most importantly you are going to need a game plan in order to determine how you are going to sell your product. You are also going to need to have the time to devote to your internet business. It is a good idea also to find someone who you trust that can guide you through the process of making money online doing this will make it easier and faster to reach your goals.

There is a great deal of appeal in working online. This is primarily the drive to be able to be your own boss, where what you want and work when you want. You do not have to answer to anyone and you are accountable only to yourself. You have the ability to spend time with your family, you save on transportation costs and you are not limited by a salary cap.

Boost Your Website’s Sales Conversion Rate in 5 Minutes or Less

by Mike Mastracci

There is a remarkably simple, inexpensive, relaible and easy way to instantly turn potential buyers into LOYAL CUSTOMERS. If you operate an Ecommerse website you owe it to yourself and to your online customers to display the official HONESTe Online seal of confidence. You know that gaining the TRUST of your website’s visitors is critical to making the sale online.

You need to make your online visitors feel comfortable doing business with you if you want them to buy. During the online sale you are not there to shake their hand, look them in the eye and reassure them that they are making a wise investment. A well written privacy page is a good start to making your website’s visitors feel secure, but it takes much more.

ONLINE SHOPPERS want to see that the merchant site that they are thinking about buying from online are members of organizations like HONESTe ONLINE, BBB ONLINE or TRUSTe ONLINE. Online shoppers need to check out these certifications displayed on Websites by clinking on them to see if they lead to the actual certification service. Some unscrupulous website owners have been stealing the images without paying for, or belonging to, the service.

There is a free ebook circulating around the web which I highly recommend. Online shoppers and owners of Ecommerce sites need to read, Revenge of the Online Shopper. If you do business online you need to see what online shoppers are learning as it has a dramatic impact on your sales conversion rates. Revenge of the Online Shopper is your ticket to Safe, Smart, Secure Online Shopping. Internet scam artists LOVE “doing business” with trusting and unsuspecting consumers. Online thieves absolutely HATE safe, smart, secure shoppers.

An educated online shopper will spend money on your site if it has the safety checks and balances that they know and respect. Does your website currently display the HONESTe ONLINE certificate — it should. If you want to make more online sales, you must place yourself in the seat of your online visitor. What does it take for you to trust the site from which you entrust your credit card and other personal information to?

HONESTe online is a win-win solution for both Online Shoppers and Online Merchants. Check out the ebook, Revenge of the Online Shopper. Even if your lead generation tactics are producing otherwise qualified purchasers you can be losing sales and revenue because of a few missing elements on your order page, this is where HONESTe on line comes to the rescue.

Having or not having the appearance of honesty and integrity can mean the difference between a customer choosing you over one of your competitors or not. Obviously, if it comes down to two sites offering the exact same service for the same price, most people will immediately gravitate to the company whose people they know a little bit about. Give your Ecommerce visitors all the necessary information they need to help them make a buying decision, or at least a decision on narrowing down the competition.

Simple Steps to Increase Web Profits

by Matthew Henage

Whatever Your Visitors Want, Give it to Them

Far too often webmasters make websites that contain just fluff. Visitors don’t come looking for just any random stuff, but usually they have certain things they are looking for, and if they don’t find it, they are gone faster than you can say, “Thanks for visiting!”

So how do you appeal to these visitors? The easy answer, “Give them what they want.” The more important question you should ask is, “What do my visitors want?” To answer this question, you need to research three imperatives, 1)Who are your visitors? 2)What attracted them to your site originally? 3) What do they want when they come to your site? Once you know who your visitors are, what attracted them and what they are interested in, it becomes very simple to attract and retain them.

So now your wondering how you find this out about your visitors. luckily there are plenty of tactics to help you do this. First tactic, just ask them. Find a way to speak to them and ask them, you’ll find that this is a very helpful tool. Another tactic is using analysis software like Google Analytics. This software is easy to set up, and can tell you mounds of valuable information about your visitors. These are very helpful ways to learn more about your visitors, and in turn, helps you to provide unique and very valuable content to them.

Build Traffic

By catering to your customers needs you’ll see an increase in traffic from past visitors returning to your site. But by extending your marketing reach you can compound the number of visitors your site will recieve. In this section we talk about some of the most important traffic building methods used by professionals each day.

If your not using PPC Advertising (Pay Per Click) then your missing out on what could become a website goldmine. With all PPC campaigns it is important to start out with a low budget, to improve your results before you unleash this method. Although there are many services that offer PPC Advertising, we suggest to start with Google Adwords. Not only is Google Adwords one of the most powerful systems, but it also can be connected to Google Analytics for very helpful tracting. By targeting the right traffic you’ll be increasing your profits in no time.

If you like free relevant traffic, your going to love SEO (Search Engine Optimization). SEO is about optimizing your web pages to become more search engine friendly, adding valuable and unique content and providing trusted links from within and outside of your website. The better ranked you can get your website in the search engines, the more free and relevant traffic you will receive.

Gear your website to make money

While you want to provide your web traffic with the content that they want, you also need to make it easy for them to make you more money. Does your website make it difficult for your visitors to sign up for a membership or make a purchase? Why? Make it easy for them, and your visitors will respond appropriately.

You’ll need to keep your site clean, but you also need to get their attention to key areas of your web page that encourage them to make a profitable action. You can do this by changing the contrast, color, style and/or font. Try different ways to draw attention to get your visitors to do what you want on different pages.

There are other tactics and tools you can use to increase customer sales as well. Using call to action, branding, A/B or multivariate testing, design improvements and product/service cross promotion can improve your sales many times over.

Do it the Easy and More Profitable Way

Like trying to do your own plumbing, Trying to do web design and marketing by yourself can lead to more bad than good. Sure, if your dedicated and take time to get the proper experience you can do fine. But if your serious about turning a higher profit for your website right now, you’ll be better off hiring a professional.

Domain Names, Steps to Choose and Register Your Own

by Ricardo d Argence

In order to register a domain name you have to use the services of a domain name registrar. The organization responsible for providing standards and procedures for certifying companies as domain name registrars is the ICAAN. The domain name industry is regulated and overseen by this organization.

When it comes to the InterNIC servers only one domain name registrar is permitted. The registers determines the fee for you and some of them have unique domain name.

A domain name is used to establish your identity on the internet, as well as serving to establish a brand. Marketing is influenced by your domain name. You can use your business name as your URL. Try to find an available URL that describes your business if your business name is not available. Purchasing a business name domain name isn’t the only way to go, and when a keyword domain name could do just fine.

The URL of your businesses website has a great effect on online and offline marketing. So, use your common sense when you choose your domain name. Domain names that are complicated for any reason can drive people away from your site. Short domain names register better with people’s memory and are easy to remember.

First you pick a domain name and then you register the name with an official registrar. A one time only set up charge will probably be included in the fee for the technical work that needs to be completed. For your Web site hosting you could pay your provider in a monthly, semi-annual or annual fee.

You can find online tools for your site with your domain registrar.

It will be better if you can purchase a .com domain name, opposed to a .net, .info, .biz or anything else. If your chosen domain name is not available in a .com, keep looking until you find one that isn’t taken. It sounds like you’ve been on the net a long time, when you have a com extension. There is nothing wrong with the other extensions, but most of people feel more comfortable in a .com site.

Then you might consider looking at the lenght of time your competitors have regstered their domain names, if you want to stay ahead of your competition. If your domain name expires, there’s a good chance that someone will register your domain name immediately after it expires. Renewal of domain names regularly is an assurance that you keep it for several years.

Never forget that your domain name is an extension of your business. It is part of your brand and an important part of your marketing strategy.
