There are many discussions about whether a person is born to be successful with a business or if they were made that way over time. For each of you that is a personal decision that you will have to decide, but I feel that each of us have ability to perform great things no matter what critics say.

I feel that most people don’t understand that they have a choice how they will lead their life and that no matter what hurdles or environment you face, you still can make a lot of decisions that will lead you toward or away from being an entrepreneur. Your agency is the one thing you have complete control over in life.

Many people fail at being entrepreneurs because they choose not to be for whatever reason that may be. Some will succeed because of sheer determination or support, but this happens in many fields in life. Piano players, sports broadcasters, writers, painters, stunt double, actors, and the list goes on and on with all the different skills people can excel in, but it is up to you how much you put into it.

I agree that there are some people that excel faster naturally for whatever reason, but at times that can be a curse because often we appreciate and capitalize more on our weaknesses and the areas we have to work on instead of if we were given it so easily. We all have areas to improve in and be grateful when you are aware of your weaknesses that help you to become stronger.

What can be dangerous is that people will use their failures as an excuse saying that it is because of their culture, skin tone, hair color, parents, or whatever excuse to put off the fact that they faced some challenges and don’t want to continue to deal with them. You can decide if you will let your hurdles stop you or not.

What is amazing is that many people we consider to be experts were actually pretty bad at that skill before. They became “naturals” after a lot of hard work and effort and study. You have to do the same in order to be successful.

Children learn to walk and talk over time. They didn’t come out of the womb that way and we all know that. Yet we call them naturals when they succeed at these tasks.

Life is a never ending lesson where we have the chance to continue to learn things whether we are 5 or 95. Stick to being motivated and keep setting goals and day by day you will see that you are becoming an expert.
