Beware Of Nicholas Cole Of MasteredManuscripts.com

May 15, 2009

It has come to our attention that Nicholas Cole of MasteredManuscripts.com has been found guilty of not delivering what he has promised his clients.

Mr. Cole was offering a salesletter writing service called NoLimitCopy.com. His promise was to deliver to his subscribers an unlimted number of salesletters every month. On the surface this sounds like a pretty good deal doesn’t it?

Things seemed as though they started out well and a very few clients were initially receiving their requested letters. As the number of subscribers grew the delays grew longer and longer until the salesletters… just stopped coming.

Many just did not even get a fraction of what they had already paid for or anything at all.

Every business has it’s growing pains. That is understandable. Unfortunately at this point, Mr. Cole began to make excuses…..and eventually he simply stopped responding to emails.

In a public announcement Mr. Cole made more excuses as to why things “did not work out.” Not once did Mr. Cole use the words “sorry” or “apologize” in reference to the inconvenience he had caused his clients.

Rather than face the music and either complete all pending requested salesletters and issue all refunds, Mr. Cole announced that he had sold “the company.” If there even is a new owner, (many believe it’s just another ‘tactic’ -so if there actually is one) was made aware of the declining reputation of the “company.”

The name now listed in the nolimitcopy.com Whois record is Ryan Street. We attempted to call ‘ Mr. Street ‘ but the phone number listed “We’re sorry. You have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service”.

Here’s some live feedback from actual clients of Mr. Cole:

Client #1

I really don’t like posting negative reviews, but I think it is each of our responsibility to let the public know when we have not received what we have paid for. In this way we can save others the headache of spending their hard-earned money and getting nothing in returned.

Nicholas Cole, the owner of masteredmanuscripts.com has taken his potential to be a good copywriter and decided to throw his reputation away by taking payment for services that he did not deliver. Let me explain further.

Mr. Cole runs or ran a copywriting service called “No Limit Copy” which was a membership which claimed to provide unlimited salesletters to it’s members. As it turns out “No Limit” refers to the fact that there is apparently “no limit” to how long it might take you to get the salesletters that you paid for or a refund that was promised.

When Mr. Cole ended up far behind on delivering the service that he promised he announced that he had sold the company. I cannot say whether the company has been sold although the Whois record reflects a different name and a phone number that is “no longer in service”.

As it stands now, Nicholas Cole still owes a number of his clients refunds which he has yet to pay. It appears as if Mr. Cole has decided to “take the money and run” and my statement will remain as such until such time as Mr. Cole returns the money he has unlawfully taken.

As this is the case I would rate the company as not being in good standing and would not recommend doing business with them under any circumstances.

Client #2

“Nicholas Cole” Strikes Again!

(Took my money and ran)

Nicholas Cole received a lot of money from hundreds of people who paid him and his group of “professional writers” hundreds of dollars monthly and in many cases thousands of dollars from each for ’salesletters’ that were never delivered and money never got returned.

Several attempts to contact him were made and each time
Cole tried to act as if he was the victim instead of the hundreds of people who he duped out of their hard-earned money.

He would promise “unlimited salesletters” and then not deliver.

When he was called out publicly, he denied any of his crimes
and tried to blame those people whose money he took for being “unreasonable”
for expecting what he promised them he would deliver in writing himself!

I also do not like to leave negative reviews and never would have
unless I had my money stolen from this guy month after month
on his recurring billing set up, each time without ever getting
what I paid for or even an apology.

He claims to have sold his business.

What timing!

He promises the moon, takes your money and bills your same credit card
monthly

and only After he gets hundreds of people paying him monthly,

THEN “sells his business” leaving everyone without their money
or what they paid for.

Do NOT trust any slick words by “Nicholas Cole”.

If he tries to smooth talk you to trick you, do not fall for it!

I wish I had at least once received what I paid for so I could give some
sort of review of his work, but he took the money and didn’t deliver!

I encourage anyone else who has been ripped off by “Nicholas Cole”
to not be afraid to share your story.

He has stolen now from too many people.

(Just like the first reviewer, the only reason there is even 1 star on this review is because you have to choose one of the options and that is the lowest possible rating.)

This is posted to warn others to not do business with Nicholas Cole
while you still have your money!

Here is a discussion of Mr. Cole’s practices with clients still looking for either a refund or the promised delivery of salesletters they’ve paid for:

http://www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/71836-does-anyone-know-how-get-touch-warrior-ndcole78.html

Conclusion: Based upon the unbiased information we have at our disposal we would not recommend doing business with Mr. Nicholas Cole of MasteredManuscripts.com

We would like to thank those who have come forward to expose Mr. Cole. Your efforts to warn your fellow marketers is to be commended.

*Caution: According to sources, Cole has been telling the people who haven’t ordered yet and been burned by him yet he is going to start a “New Copywriting Site”.
It appears he is planning on doing the same thing as he did to the others he stole from
without ever refunding them or trying to make it right.

You can Learn To Make Money Online

February 18, 2009

by Abigail Hansen

So often I come across websites that claim they can teach you to make money online for free. Most people although skeptical, will follow the advice on the site because they are desperate to find answers.

Can you really learn to make money for free? Well let’s consider this. If you were making real money online, why would you be giving your secrets away for free? Are people really that good natured that they will gladly spend their time teaching you and others all their secrets free of charge regardless of the competition that it would create for them?

No one that is actually making real money online would want to give up their secrets for free. It is already a very competitive market, and everyone has to develop their own methods and find their own niches to actually make it in the industry.

Those few that actually make their way in the online world are usually willing to teach others, but for a good amount of money. Some people pay thousands of dollars to learn good online business. Those same people are often never make a dime of profit.

So how do you learn to make money online? Find a middle ground. If you can pay less than $100 to learn a skill or trade that will make you money with almost no recurring overhead, you should consider it a good deal.

Search online and you will find a huge assortment of eBooks, some of which are excellent and will help you learn to make money online. Some of which are a total waste of money and should be avoided. How do you choose the right one? Just consider its source. It is nice to feel that they know what they are doing.

But don’t be afraid to take risks. If you really are going to make an online business, you will have failures. It’s just the natural course of things. You have to mess up sometimes to learn from your mistakes, avoid repeating them in the future. And after you learn all you can from others, you will still need to develop your own methods and find which tools you work best with.

Never forget, there is no such thing as a free lunch, you have to speculate to accumulate. Just make sure that you do not pay too high a price

Advertising Tips – Advertising in Yellow Pages

February 17, 2009

by Soraia Bauer

Some people believe that yellow pages do not receive response like other advertising methods do and this is true to some extent but not in totality. When talking about traditional yellow pages, there sure is a decline in number of people opting for advertising in it. According to a recent report, even the most attractive advertisement in a particular section is not getting the response from callers like they used to get before. On the contrary, the prices of placing ads in directories are on a rise, which speaks a different, story altogether.

In reality different categories are witnessing different rates of decline. Like the lawyers category is seeing the maximum decline, where as emergency service provider’s section has the same call rate. And sections like mobile phones, real estate and furniture are seeing a rise due to the increasing customer demand. Altering the size of the advertisement or changing the look cannot do wonders any more.

Experts suggest that relying on yellow pages to get customers isn’t enough. Other options should be considered as well along with it. With the Internet reaching every home, nearly half of the Internet users use the net everyday. They prefer to buy stuff online, from the comfort of their homes. Research should be done on the Internet to get reviews about the product. People, who don’t usually shop online, also are also opting to shop online as information is provided at the click of a mouse. It is easier for people to trust as customers who used the product give their feedback about the product after using it.

A comparatively newer judgment is a yellow pages starting online. A great thing about them is that they have been updated often distinct a printed directories as great as can be noticed from any partial of a world. According to researches conducted, a reply increasing by twenty 5 percent each year. So those who have been meddlesome to deposit in yellow pages promotion can consider of starting online. Directories have been submitted to poke engines that upon typing a keyword or word move results. Small as great as internal businesses, too, can land upon a pages brought by a result. A price of formulating a website can be saved if all an applicable report about an association is enclosed in online yellow pages. Demeanour out for a date to replenish a office listing, as great as if there is a need to shift a advertisement, it is not a large complaint upon online yellow pages. A little starter websites suggest placing announcement in their yellow pages for free. Poke out for such websites upon an Internet.

Larger businesses can begin their own websites as great as place links in online yellow pages. Articles can be framed about a commercial operation as great as can be submitted to Rezones as great as websites associated to an area of business. A little websites additionally concede posting articles for free. A role of yellow pages is fundamentally to get intensity commercial operation though that doesn’t mean that existent commercial operation should be neglected. Steps should be taken to make firm an attribute with them as great as to keep their certitude by progressing a customary of a products granted to them. Once they have been utterly satisfied, a price-rise won’t worry them as great as they will speak about an association to people they know, that will fetch brand new customers.

The neutral is to work smartly and select the right method of advertising. If a business isn’t using any other method for advertising apart from using yellow pages, it can cause problems and the products may not sell. Analyze how much money is spent on placing ads in directories and estimate whether the amount of customers the business gets is desirable. Whenever a call is received from a potential customer, ask them how they got to know about the enterprise. This will help to analyze which advertising method is saint for the business. It is never late to correct the mistake and go for the right method.

Google search bad for the environment?

February 16, 2009

by Ermine James

Wissner-Gross’ research studied the CO2 emissions produced by individual use of the internet. The research indicates that viewing a simple web page generates about 0.02g of CO2 per second. This increases to about 0.2g of CO2 a second when viewing a website with complex images, animations or videos.

Other analysts came up with different estimates. John Buckley, managing director of a British environmental consultancy carbonfootprint.com, estimates Google searches CO2 emissions to about 1g and 10g, depending on whether you have to start your PC or not. According to him, simply running a PC produces between 40g and 80g per hour. Chris Goodall, author of Ten Technologies to Save the Planet, estimates about the carbon emissions of a Google search at 7g to 10g within 15 minutes of computer use.

Google responded to this issue by declaring that these estimates are “many times too high”. In their official blog, the search engine giant said that their data centres are designed and built as the most energy efficient ones in the world. This meant that the energy consumed per Google search is very minimal. The greenhouse gases a typical Google search produces is equal to about 0.2 grams of CO2. The standard for tailpipe emissions calls for 140 grams of CO2 per kilometer driven, but most cars don’t reach that level yet, meaning the average car driven for one kilometer (0.6 miles for those in the U.S.) produces as many greenhouse gases as a thousand Google searches.

Despite the doubts arising on Google’s energy use, many also sprung into the defense of the internet giant. Comments on how Google remains one of the most eco-friendly companies poured from readers all over the world. “Power use is a cost for Google and other computing companies, so bringing down power consumption of anything in its infrastructure is just good for its business, beyond the environmental impact”, according to Katie Fehrenbacher. “If there was an easy way for Google to reduce that per-query energy consumption, it probably would have done it already.” Kevin Marks states that breathing generates about 6g of carbon every 10 minutes, as much as Wissner-Gross’ computer estimate does. “I suggest you hold your breath while you search Google, to offset your carbon use,” he quips. It isn’t even about Google, Nick Carr points out, “It’s about us,” and how much energy we consume and waste every time we power our computers and other gadgets.

The debate is set to continue for some time to come.

Import from China and avoid the fakes

February 15, 2009

by David Johnstone

Many people are considering where to find merchandise to sell on Ebay. When you are dealing with the giant auction site, you need keen buys to compete with the many others struggling for a place in the market. Here are some things that you should watch out for when you import from China.

Stay away from electronic items from China. The adverts and notices that claim they are name brand goods you see for much more on the high street, are actually fakes.

The problem with dealing with these fakes is that you are left with a worthless piece of equipment if something should go wrong. There is no company to return the merchandise to and the manufacturer that you believed made the product is really not the maker.

Designer clothing you find from China are usually fake. Never try to pass off these goods as originals or you could get sued or at the very least, have them confiscated. A good guide is that if the prices are too good to be true, then avoid them.

Instead look for a site or company selling quality unbranded merchandise for a good price. As long as they are not trying to sell you a brand, you can be more assured that the merchandise that they have is a reasonable.

Look for the sites that rank well with Google. It is not 100%, but you can be sure that the sites with the highest rank are fairly legitimate. Keep an eye on the domain name that they are using. If they are trying to steer traffic to their site with the use of a brand name, avoid them.

Take a look for an address and telephone number and give them a call. You can usually tell from the response if they are bonafide

Check out the types of payments that are accepted. If you are not comfortable sending your payment for merchandise in the way they ask, then suggest and alternative. They should be able to accept normal international payment methods. The bottom line on dealing with import from China is that you have to be wary. If you think you are going to get name brand designer merchandise for a fraction of what it sells at back home, you are in dangerous territory.
