3 Main Reason Why People Fail In MLM
February 13, 2009
The reason why MLM has such a bad reputation today is because there are too many people who failed in the business. They blame the industry and evrything else but themselves. But there are many people in the industry who have persevered and overcome rejections and make it to earn tens of thousands per month.
These are some ways why people fail in the MLM industry and how you can overcome it if you are new to the industry.
Pitfall #1: They have very high expectations of themselves
It is the “get rich quick” syndrome that really brings most MLM marketers down. And because most people would love to earn more money in the shortest possible time, they easily fall as prey.
What they didn’t realized that network marketing or MLM, is just like any other business. You need hard work, dedication and effort to build it up to be a huge empire for yourself. Nothing comes easy.
Solution
You mustn’t think that MLM is a “get rich quick” scheme and you have to really work hard to achieve the goals you set for your business in order to succeed.
Pitfall #2: Lack of education
Most people fail in MLM because they expect to be able to earn money without having to exert too much effort. They do not take the initiative to learn the things that will help them in their MLM career. Education is very important to make them know that good thing does not comes easily, hardword and discipline is required to succeed in MLM or any other kinda of jobs.
Here’s the solution for you…
Get yourself a good mentor in the business that will share with you their experience and things to avoid. This can help you shorten your learning curve and avoid committing the same mistakes that they did.
Pitfall #3: Losing Your Empathy
Another reason many MLMers won’t sustain long enough in the business is that they get too concerned about earning money, they forget about the fundamentals of selling, they start to push products to customers without analyzing if they need the product.
Here’s the solution for you…
Get the basics of selling right, You sell something that someone needs. This way you will be able to get customers who will give you repeated sales. Thus giving you more sustainable income. Empathize with their feeling.
Therefore, everything boils down to the fact that MLM is, a serious business. People should learn that the effort the results they will reap are proportionate to their efforts. Hence, they should work harder in order to succeed in MLM.
ABC Fundamentals To Recruit Your Friend
February 12, 2009
When you just start out in MLM/ Network marketing, your first source of prospect would very naturally be your friends or relatives. But, they will also be your most difficult customers if you don’t know how to handle them, thus blowing your chance of even recruiting them in to your network.
Because friends have the tendency to view you as an equal, they don’t acknowledge your success and are very judgmental of you. Therefore it is difficult to make them listen to you.
They see your weakness and judge your presentation, and they may sometimes make jokes about you trying to recruit them.
Our advice is for you to leverage on your uplines or leaders to ask them to help you out with your first few appointments. They have the experience and the influence to present to your friends or family members. You can make use of them to build your network.
In this case, you have to practice the Rule of ABC. A being the Advisor or Upline, B being the Bridge which is you. and C is the customer which is your prospect.
You need to bridge your prospect to your upline and vice versa, tell your prospect the achievements your upline has gotten through the company’s system, so your prospect will view your upline in a different light.
Sit next to your prospect during the presentation, to give him moral support. the last thing you want to do is to leave your upline do the presentation to the prospect alone. This shows disrespect and insincerity to recruit your friend.
Try not to give advice and “try to help” your upline, during the presentation, this will undermine your upline’s authority. Just sit there and agree to what he says is the best help you can give.
You will be the one closing your friend to join you in the business, not your upline. Give moral support to your friend and assure him that joining you will be the right choice.
You should also be doing problem solving if your friend is reluctant or indecisive. Give support as a friend, so you won’t be too aggressive or pushy. It’s not worth losing a friend over this.
Sure Fire Ways To Succeed With PPC
February 11, 2009
Pay Per Click is one of the most cost effective ways of advertising. This is because you only incur advertising cost when someone clicks your advertisement. You can get targeted traffic to your website in this case.
Though PPC looks very simple, there are many things you need to know and prepare before you conduct a PPC campaign. This is to ensure you get the highest level of effectiveness in your ads while reducing your cost of your advertisements. Here are some pointers you should look out and take note for your PPC campaign.
The first thing many advertisers do wrongly is in the keyword research. If you don’t choose the right keyword for your advertisement, you will probably end up with a lower effectiveness and higher cost for your advertisement.
So let me cite an example. Say you want to marketing a site on Online Network Marketing. Naturally, you will have choose keywords like “Network Marketing” or “MLM”. So when someone looking for information to grow MLM offline goes to Google and search “Network Marketing” only to be disappointed by your website providing ONLINE Network Marketing, not only have you not delivered the correct information to the correct audience, you also spend unnecessary money. So the key here is to use the correct keywords.
Another pitfall of pay per click is geographical targeting. This is something that many people don’t really give much thought to, but the truth, running your ad all over the world is not a very good idea. The reason is simple.
The world is made up of many cultures and not all of them are going to be prospects for YOUR particular offer. In some cases, ONLY non English speaking countries would be a viable target for an ad, depending on what the product is. So it’s important to know who you target market is and advertise ONLY to that market.
The next point to note is the position you want your advertisement on search engines. Most marketers doing PPC, simply go for the first position on search engines. But is the first the best?
The sad truth is that the number 1 top position is all good at all. Prospects tend to click on the first ad, then click on the second to compare prices. After several attempts to find cheaper deals, they may well buy the same item on the ads that is at number 5 position. So you should well place your ads between positions 3-7.
Pay per click can, without a doubt, be the most targeted form of advertising around. But these pitfalls, keyword selection, targeting and ad position…along with so many others…can turn your pay per click into a nightmare.
That’s why it’s important to make sure that you get yourself a solid education before venturing into a pay per click campaign.
Managing Your PPC Campaign For More Online Profits
February 4, 2009
When you first start your Pay Per Click campaign, in order to do it right and effective, you must start know and understand your goals and aim with your PPC campaign. I know this may sound very “elementary”, but you have to identify exactly your goals if you want to ensure proper PPC campaign management.
Some of the normal goals of PPC campaigns are; to collect leads, sell product or services, or increase traffic. You need to know your goals in order to manage your PPC campaign.
1. The first and most important question to ask yourself to management your PPC campaign well is to know how much you can spend or able to afford. A good starting step is to do testing and try making a few sales, and then you will be able to determine a more accurate conversion rate.
If you do this and calculate a 2% conversion rate on a $30 product, then you should know that you can spend 50 cents per click and still make a $10 profit. Now, you probably would not want to cut it that close, and would want to keep your costs around 30 cents per click in this case.
2. Another important key to have better results from PPC is you have to use very targeted keyword list. There are tons and tons of great software in the market to help you with keyword selection, however, I think common sense is the best tool for this!
When you enter the keyword you want to use, you should bracket it so that your ad will only appear for the exact search.Try to think from your customers’ point of view. If you were then, how would you search? This can help you decide on the keyword to use.
3. Nobody can achieve instant success to PPC. You need trials and errors and constant monitoring of your ads to manage the performance. Only when you can consistently get your desired results, can you leave it alone.
Its not difficult to manage your PPC campaigns, all you need is hard work, common sense and maybe some help from people around you who is experienced enough to know what he is talking about.

January 14, 2009
As first impression is very important in marketing, your first email to your opt-in list is very important. Your first email will be the first opportunity to connect with your readers in your list. They will guide you from your first email, so your first email should always be good. Sound friend and welcome them to your list.
Usually you will have a sequence of messages setup in your email auto responder. The first message that you send will be labeled day 0 meaning that it will be sent immediately. Now the important thing to structure with this email is to establish trust and credibility with your subscriber and deliver a warm welcome.
In the first message to them, it is not polite to immediately try to sell them something. People opt-in to your list for a reason. Know the reason and deliver it to them. But as a start, you can follow my template to send your leads to welcome them into this relationship with you.
Here is an example of the email that I send:
Hi [[firstname]]

Example to Writing Your First Email Message
January 14, 2009
Your very first email that you send to your opt in list is a very important step to establishing a very good relationship with your list. The reason for this is that you need to welcome them correctly and usually in any relationship first impressions last a very long time. So in the way that when a stranger approaches you and you form an impression by the way that they dress, speak and use their body language the same applies to your visitor that has subscribed to your email list.
Usually you will have a sequence of messages setup in your email auto responder. The first message that you send will be labeled day 0 meaning that it will be sent immediately. Now the important thing to structure with this email is to establish trust and credibility with your subscriber and deliver a warm welcome.
One word of caution is to not send a sales page of an e-book with the intention of selling them something on your first email. 90% of the time, they will unsubscribe almost immediately. I usually thank them on my first email and introduce myself and talk a little about my background. I will also give them free useful information they are looking for!
A classic example of an email I would sent out as my first:

4 Simple But Deadly Ways to Dominate Traffic With Videos
January 14, 2009
YouTube has been a revelation, a runaway success story on the Internet, almost like no other. No wonder, Google coughed up $1.65 billion to acquire YouTube, at a time when it was scaling new heights in the new-age phenomenon called online video sharing. Over time, people have realized the potential of YouTube (and its ilk! Yes, there are others like YouTube, for instance Google’s own Google Videos) and started incorporating video marketing as a part of their overall Internet marketing strategy. In case you are looking to develop your own such marketing plan, the following tips could guide you.
Tip 1: Use Your Creativity in Your Videos
In order to catch the attention of viewers, you have to be creative in your video. Think out of the box for ideas. You could use cartoons, or comic strips, use humor or innovation in your videos. What you can do with videos is unbounded, so let your creativity run wild.
Tip 2:
Once you have frozen on a unique and creative idea for your video, develop a good script for it. Without a script, it is unlikely that your idea will actually get to the execution stage. Think through all the stages of the video, from start to finish.
Tip 3: Distribute Your Videos
As mentioned in the introduction, today there are a plethora of video sharing websites. YouTube is no more the sole player in the arena, though it is by far the largest, and as many may contend, the best. So look up all these various websites, and make your presence felt on as many of these as possible.
Tip 4: Tell people about it
The most important thing you need to do in video marketing is to advertise about your videos. Without advertising, it will be difficult for people to find and locate your video. Use social media platforms like FaceBook, Friendster, or Twitter to spread the word and link about your videos
Online Video Marketing – 3 Tips to Get Your Video Noticed
January 14, 2009
In recent years online video has exploded in popularity. The massive popularity of online video is due mainly to two converging trends: the greater availability of high speed internet access and the increased affordability of digital recording equipment.
The popularity of videos made big search engines like Google to give higher importance to it and placed relevant videos high in the ranks for natural searches.
Since video is so popular now, it is definitely wise to also invest some time in using videos to promote your business. You may get better results with video marketing.
Videos can create good source of traffic for your website because you can promote your URL in the video and video sharing sites allow you to share your website URL along with your video.
To improve the results from videos, you can consider the below points:
1.Choose Your Keyword
In order to do this, you need to use a good keyword tool. For my keyword research I like to use Google’s Keyword Tool which you can find by going to Google and typing in the aforementioned keywords. You should use the exact keyword phrase in your video title and sprinkle it several times in your description.
2.Reference From Others
Go to the different video sharing sites and see what other videos that are doing well are doing. That is, look at the content of the video as well as the title and description. If you can produce a video that closely mirrors the highly ranked videos then chances are you too will get high rankings.
3.Share
After creating your video, you can post it in your website and besides that, you should also share it with other internet users by submitting your videos to some video sharing sites or even social networking sites. This allows you to obtain traffic from more avenues.
