Check Up On Your Keyword List To Make More Money Online

September 28, 2009

by Peters Q Framptowski

If you’ve been in Niche Marketing any time at all, you know how important keywords are. These words are what people type into search engines to find information. If you’ve done your work right, they’ll find your site and come running, eager to buy what you have, this is the way to make money in Internet Marketing. Without keywords, there would be no rankings and it would be hard for visitors to find our pages, and our ads!

But many niche marketers fail to do regular check ups on their keyword list. A popular myth is that once a keyword is popular, it will remain popular forever. That’s one reason you should take the time to stop and check on your keywords.

With fewer and fewer of us having extra times on our hands these days, the time we do spend on our websites is important. That’s why you shouldn’t waste time optimizing your site for keywords that don’t pay. It takes the same amount of time to build links and optimize a website for good paying keywords as it does for non paying keywords, so don’t waste time on the ones that don’t pay. This is why it’s critical that you know which keywords are bringing money in and which ones aren’t.

But just as many keywords go of style, there are many that become popular. Some become popular overnight while others may sneak their way into the searches. This is just another example of why you need to stay on top of your keyword list. If you don’t, you’ll be leaving money on the table…for people like me to take away from you! Think of keywords as a bunch of Apples in the fridge. When some start going bad, you toss them and replace them with fresh ones whenever you go to the store. Your keyword list should be done the same way. Routinely check your list for non producing keywords, get rid of them and replace them with ones that do make you money.

If you’re seeing decreasing income from your keyword list, this may be a good time to look them over to see which ones aren’t performing. While you’re at it, it will also be a good idea to see which other keywords that have become popular so you can add those to your list as well. It’s a real bummer to work hard building your keyword list only to find out that many of your main keywords are not being searched for quite as often as they once were.

Just by taking this advice and looking over your keyword list, you’ll likely find room for improvement. Heck, you may also discover that your income goes up as you get rid of non productive keywords and add new ones. You can bet that your competition will be updating their keyword list on a routine basis, just another reason you should be as well. That is, if your interested in making money on the Internet!

Most big ERP rollouts fall foul of e-business failures – Manufacturing Computer Solutions

September 26, 2009

ERP project delays, due to problems with e-business system rollouts are costing some manufacturers more than $1 million per month. That’s the top level finding of a study by analyst AMR Research, which reveals that, specifically for companies with multi-million dollar ERP deployments, delays due to lack of B2B planning and integration can cost in excess of $45,000 a day. However, the problem also arises for manufacturers not in the super-big bracket, with nearly 85% of the companies surveyed claiming to have experienced delays in ERP rollouts due to the same problems. AMR’s survey, which included respondents from the food and beverage, high tech and consumer products industries, as well as from automotive suppliers and OEMs, established a strong relationship between ERP projects and new B2B e-commerce needs. Importantly, the AMR Research survey also found more than a third (34%) of data in ERP systems originates from outside the enterprise (customers, suppliers, 3PLs etc), demonstrating the criticality of integrating trading partner transactions and data with ERP systems. Too many companies get half-way through a new ERP roll-out to discover that they are not staffed to support the massive mapping, testing and trading partner management activities necessary for ERP upgrades. read more
